How many LEDs does the led strip have?
Each led strip has 21 LEDs, and there are two led strips in the package, total 42 LEDs.
-
Does it support 4-pin RGB header of the motherboard?
No, it doesn't support 4-pin RGB header of motherboards, it only support 5V 3-pin argb header of motherboards, because the LEDs of the led strip are addressable rgb LEDs(built-in IC), working voltage is +5V.
-
Why doesn't the led strip turn on after plugging it into the 3-pin argb header of the motherboard?
First, please check if the included 3-pin extension cable is correctly plugged into the 3-pin argb header of the motherboard. Then, check whether the led strips are properly connected to the 3-pin extension cable and check if connections are loose.
-
Why aren't all the LEDs turning on?
First, please check if your LED control software has a limit on the number of LEDs. If there are no issues with the software settings, we think you may have received defective product, please apply for a replacement.
-
Can the led strip be cut to the length I want?
Hello, the entire led strip is wrapped in a silicone tube, and it is not recommended to cut it, as this may damage the led strip and cause unnecessary trouble.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the AG-NEON-LS1 improve the look of a gaming room?
The diffused silicone tube delivers a smooth, continuous neon-style glow rather than the dotted look of standard LED strips, which transforms the inside of a PC case into an ambient light source that complements any battlestation aesthetic.
Will the neon glow clash with the rest of my bedroom decor?
No. Because the lighting is software-controlled, you can dial in warm whites, soft pastels, or single-color tones that blend with your existing room palette, so the glow enhances rather than clashes with your decor.
Can the lighting be set to a cozy, low-intensity background ambiance?
Yes. Using SignalRGB or your motherboard's ARGB software, you can set the strips to a soft single color at low brightness, which is perfect for bedroom or living room ambiance without being distracting.
Does the diffused tube really look like neon?
Yes. The silicone rubber housing diffuses each LED into a continuous band of light, so the strip looks like a flexible neon tube rather than a row of visible diodes, which is the key visual difference compared to standard ARGB strips.
Can I match the strip color to my existing room color scheme?
Yes. With 42 individually addressable LEDs running on 5V ARGB, you can choose any color, from warm amber to cool teal, and lock it in for a permanent decor-matching look.
Will the light leak out of the case and affect the room mood?
Most tempered glass cases allow a soft glow to escape, which actually enhances the room ambiance. You can adjust brightness in software to control how much light spills out.
Is the strip long enough to make a visible difference in a mid-tower case?
Yes. Each strip is 15.75 inches long, and the two-pack configuration provides enough length to outline the interior of most mid-tower and full-tower cases for a complete ambient effect.
Does the strip work for open-air test bench setups that sit in a living space?
Yes, open-air test benches benefit even more from diffused neon strips because the hardware is fully exposed, so the soft glow becomes a key decorative element visible from every angle in the room.
Can I use this in a streaming studio where the case is on camera?
Yes. Many streamers install the AG-NEON-LS1 specifically for on-camera aesthetics, since the smooth neon glow looks more professional on stream than standard dotted LED strips.
Will the silicone tube yellow or discolor over time?
No. The silicone rubber housing is UV-stable and rated for long-term use inside a PC case, so it will maintain its clear, neutral appearance over years of operation.
Is the lighting viewable from outside a solid metal case?
A solid metal case will block most light. The strips are designed for tempered glass, acrylic, mesh, or open-air cases where the interior is visible, which is standard for showcase builds.
Does the magnetic mounting leave marks on the chassis?
No. The magnetic brackets attach externally to steel surfaces without adhesives, so there is no residue, no scratches, and no permanent modification to your case.
Can I sync the case lighting with my room's smart lighting?
Through SignalRGB and compatible smart home integrations, you can synchronize the AG-NEON-LS1 with certain smart bulb ecosystems, so your whole room can shift color together.
What color temperature works best for a cozy bedroom aesthetic?
Warm whites in the 2700K to 3000K range or soft amber tones create a cozy, lamp-like ambiance, while cool blues and purples suit a more modern gaming aesthetic.
Will the strip look out of place in a white or minimalist case build?
No. In fact, white and minimalist cases showcase diffused neon strips particularly well, because the smooth color band stands out against clean cable management and neutral panels.
Is this strip bright enough to act as the only light source in a dark room?
It is bright enough to add significant ambient color to a dark room, but it is not designed to replace primary room lighting. It works best as an accent layer on top of your existing setup.
How do I install the airgoo AG-NEON-LS1 inside my PC case?
Clean the steel mounting surface, attach the magnetic brackets to the case frame, snap the strip into the brackets, and plug the 5V 3-pin ARGB connector into your motherboard's ARGB header or into the Airgoo AG-DRGB16 SignalRGB controller. No tools or adhesives are required.
Do I need to use the Airgoo AG-DRGB16 SignalRGB controller?
No, the controller is optional. The strips work directly with any standard 5V 3-pin ARGB motherboard header for basic effects. The AG-DRGB16 controller is only needed if you want to use SignalRGB software for advanced per-LED and multi-channel effects.
Can I cut the strips to a shorter length?
Cutting the strips is not recommended because it will break the diffusion and may damage the LED circuit. The 15.75-inch length is designed to fit most standard case installations without modification.
Is the AG-NEON-LS1 compatible with my ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, or ASRock motherboard?
Yes, the strips use the universal 5V 3-pin ARGB standard, which is supported by most modern motherboards from ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, ASRock, and Biostar. Check that your board has an ARGB header before purchasing.
Will this strip work with my existing RGB fans and RAM?
Yes, through your motherboard's ARGB software or the Airgoo AG-DRGB16 SignalRGB controller, you can synchronize the strip with most ARGB fans, RAM, and other components for a unified lighting effect.
What is included in the box?
The package includes two diffused silicone ARGB neon strips (21 LEDs each), twelve magnetic mounting brackets, and ADD RGB extension cables A and B. The Airgoo AG-DRGB16 SignalRGB controller is sold separately.
Is it safe to leave the strip on 24 hours a day?
Yes, the 5V low-voltage design and 10W power draw mean the strips run cool and are safe for continuous 24/7 operation, making them suitable for always-on streaming or showcase builds.
Will the magnetic brackets damage my case finish?
No, the neodymium-style magnetic brackets attach externally to steel surfaces without adhesives, screws, or contact with the case finish, so they will not scratch, mark, or leave residue on your chassis.
What is the difference between an ARGB LED strip and a regular RGB LED strip?
A regular RGB strip can only display one color across the entire strip at a time. An ARGB (Addressable RGB) strip like the AG-NEON-LS1 can control each of the 42 LEDs independently, enabling per-LED effects such as chase, rainbow, and reactive patterns that are impossible on a standard RGB strip.
